Three Ukrainian soldiers were killed in fighting in eastern Ukraine in the past 24 hours, according to presidential spokesman for the ATO Oleksandr Motuzianyk.
"There were three [troops] killed in action," he said at a briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday, an UNIAN correspondent reported.
Motuzianyk said that two soldiers were killed yesterday in a military clash near the village of Stanytsia Luhanska, while another soldier was killed as a result of militant shelling from 122mm artillery systems outside the village of Chermalyk.
