Another attempt to storm the positions of the government forces near Avdiyivka started at 07:00 Kyiv time, the ATO Staff reported, adding that the Ukrainian military refuted the assault.
"Today, Russian-occupation forces continued their attacks on Ukrainian positions near Avdiyivka. The enemy used BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launchers, 152mm artillery, heavy machine guns and small arms," the statement reads.

The attack has failed. The enemy retreated. At 07:00, Russian-occupation forces made another assault attempt with a 30-strong team. The enemy was stopped... The fighting continues."
As UNIAN reported earlier, Russian-backed militants made 86 attacks, leaving one Ukrainian soldier killed.
