OSCE spots six Grad systems, three tanks in near Russia-occupied Luhansk

The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) to Ukraine has reported its monitors have again spotted proscribed heavy weapons in Russia-occupied areas near the city of Luhansk controlled by the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic ("LPR").

"In non-government-controlled areas, the SMM saw three tanks (T-72) and seven self-propelled howitzers (2S1) with their engines running at an aerodrome on the south-eastern outskirts of 'LPR'-controlled Luhansk city. The SMM also saw six multiple launch rocket systems (BM-21 Grad, 122mm) 500m south-west of 'LPR'-controlled Malomykolaivka (36km south-west of Luhansk)," the SMM said in a report based on information received as of 19:30 local time on May 10, 2017.
