Donetsk water filtration station re-connected to power grids — emergency service

The Donetsk water filtration station was re-connected to the power grids as of 07:00 local time on July 3 after its operation had been suspended following damage amid Donbas hostilities, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SESU).

"The re-launch of the station is scheduled for July 3. Some 4,000 cubic meters of water is left in Avdiyivka's municipal reservoir. On July 2, the local municipal services and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine additionally brought 17.1 cubic meters of water [to local residents]," the SESU's press service told UNIAN.

The filtration station supplies water to the Ukrainian-held town of Avdiyivka and nearby villages, and partly to the occupied city of Donetsk and the occupied town of Yasynuvata.
