Donbas militants are staging terrorist attacks, aiming to blame the Ukrainian side for disrupting Minsk accords and seal their claims with a corresponding coverage in Russian propaganda media, the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine's Defense Ministry reports.
"In the zone of responsibility of the 1st separate motorized rifle brigade (Kalmiuske) and the 11th separate motorized rifle regiment (Donetsk) of the 1st Army Corps, the enemy is making 'preventive acts,' including through plotting and conducting provocative and staged shellings, and staging terrorist attacks with the subsequent accusation of the Ukrainian leadership of the disruption of Minsk agreements," the report says.
