Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko says that the war in Donbas is still far from being over, according to an UNIAN correspondent.
"Unfortunately, the war is still very far from being over, but we see light at the end of the tunnel," he said at a meeting of the Regional Development Council in Kyiv on Tuesday, October 24.

"No one in the world supported us then. But now when I have recently returned from a UN General Assembly session, we've got strong support of our partners," the president said.
As UNIAN reported, Poroshenko on September 20 asked the UN Security Council to support the deployment of a peacekeeping mission to Donbas.
