Russian Defense Ministry has released footage of air strikes "on the command post and operational headquarters of the Islamic state fighters" in Syria, Russian information agency TASS reported.
"About twenty airstrikes have been launched," said Russian Defense Ministry spokesperson Major-General Igor Konashenkov.
According to the report, Russian aircraft launched targeted strikes on eight positions of the Islamic state terrorist group.
