Relatives of some of the 298 people who died on Malaysian Airlines flight MH17 over Ukraine in 2014 have been briefed on a report by the Dutch Safety Board, BBC News reported.
The report has found out that the plane was hit by a Russian-made Buk missile, relatives told the BBC News.
The West and Ukraine say Russian-backed rebels brought down the Boeing 777. But Russia claims a missile was fired from Ukrainian-controlled territory.
The investigation was not concerned with question of blame or liability.
The Dutch Safety Board is publishing its final report Tuesday into what caused Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 to break up high over Eastern Ukraine last year, killing all 298 people on board.
