In December, Russia will issue a thematic banknote dedicated to the occupied territory of Crimea, First Deputy Governor of the Bank of Russia Georgy Luntovskiy said on Thursday, according to Russian news agency TASS.
"I came to Crimea in order to agree with two governors (Crimea and Sevastopol) the design of banknote dedicated to Crimea. A total of 20 million banknotes will go into free circulation in December," he said.
The new bill, according to Luntovskiy, "will be issued in unusual colors - it will have symbols of Crimea and Sevastopol."
