Foreign Minister minister of the Netherlands Bert Koenders said on Thursday that international tribunal may be set up in order to prosecute those guilty of downing flight MH17, according to RIA news agency.
Speaking at the European Parliament in Brussels, the official stressed that the prosecutor's office was investigating the case quite actively.
Koenders said that states involved in the investigation will be seeking to find the best suitable mechanism for a criminal prosecution of those responsible, at the national level, or setting up a joint court by the participant states," Koenders said during a European Parliament session in Brussels.

Establishing such court would help prevent Russia from vetoing the move and help investigate the crash.
