Islamic State, Al Qaeda, and their affiliates are plotting terrorist attacks in Europe in the near future, that’s according to the “Worldwide Caution” report last updated on March 3 on the website of the U.S. State Department.
“Credible information indicates terrorist groups such as ISIL and al-Qa’ida and its affiliates continue to plot near-term attacks in Europe. All European countries remain vulnerable to attacks from transnational terrorist organizations,” reads the report.
It is noted that attacks may be “conducted by lone individuals inspired by extremist organizations that could occur with little to no warning.”
