Dutch MP Pieter Omtzigt was appointed author of the report on Tuesday, Radio Poland reported.

Omtzigt was earlier part of a team investigating the crash of a Malaysia Airlines plane which was shot down over Ukraine in July 2014.

"The most important element will be Pieter Omtzigt's visit to Poland and Russia. I hope […] the report will force Russia to at least return the wreckage to Poland," Polish MP Dominik Tarczynski, a member of the Legal Affairs Committee, told TVP Info.
