The sanctions will be prolonged for another six months.
Brussels-based RFE/RL journalist Rikard Jozwiak says the European Union says the EU ambassadors on Wednesday will prolong sanctions against persons and entities responsible for the undermining of the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
"EU ambassadors will tomorrow green light the visa bans and asset freezes on 175 ppl and 44 entities that the block believes have undermined the territorial integrity of Ukraine. 6 months roll-over as usual," he wrote on Twitter on September 8, 2020.
