Over the period under review, costs of construction and assembly of civil engineering facilities, as well as complex industrial facilities increased most of all, by 26.6% and by 25.9%, respectively. The lowest increase (by 20.9%) was recorded in the construction of pipelines, communications and power lines, according to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
Costs of construction and installation works in September 2018 alone grew by 1.3% compared to August 2018 after a 0.1% increase in August 2018 from July 2018.
In September 2018, the highest increase in construction and assembly costs was recorded in the construction of engineering facilities, by 1.9%.
The State Statistics Service said the report did not include data from the temporarily occupied areas in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the city of Sevastopol, as well as Russian-occupied Donbas in the east of Ukraine.
As UNIAN reported earlier, construction and assembly costs in Ukraine rose by 13.4% in 2017 against 2016.
