It was twice the figure for the same period of the previous year.
The operating banks of Ukraine in January-February posted UAH 8.691 billion, or US$322 million, in net profit, which is twice the figure for the same period of the previous year.
According to the National Bank of Ukraine, the banks' revenues for the specified period grew by 40.4%, to UAH 39.279 billion (US$1.45 billion), expenses increased by 27.5%, to UAH 30.588 billion (US$1.13 billion).
