Over the period under review, costs of construction and assembly of transport facilities increased most of all, by 17.2%. The lowest increase (by 7.6%) was recorded in the construction of civil engineering facilities, according to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
Costs of construction and installation works in April 2019 alone grew by 0.4% compared to March 2019 after a 1% increase in March 2019 from February 2019.
The highest increase (0.8%) in construction and assembly costs was recorded in the construction of residential buildings.
The report does not include information from temporarily occupied areas in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the city of Sevastopol, and certain areas in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, it said.
As UNIAN reported earlier, construction and assembly costs in Ukraine rose by 23% in 2018 from 2017.
