Ukraine must show progress in reforms to get macrofinancial support from the EU, President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker told a press conference in Brussels following the fifth Eastern Partnership Summit November 24.
“We will continue our cooperation with Ukraine in the coming years, in particular on a micro-financial level, provided that Ukraine complies with a number of conditions that it agrees with,” Juncker said.

He also touched upon the increase in Ukraine-EU foreign trade: “Thanks to the historic Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement with Ukraine, exports as imports between the European Union and Ukraine increased by 27% between January and August 2017.
