Poroshenko: Funding of state defense order grows by 37% in 2018, to over $730 mln

"I think it vividly describes the distance our country has passed since 2014-2015. In 2018, the funding of the state defense order exceeds UAH 21 billion," he said at a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) on January 17.

In his words, Ukraine has started to gradually switch from repairs to broken legacy equipment to the production of different types of military hardware.
