Ukraine's Digital Transformation Ministry says about 14.6 million Ukrainian mobile subscribers out of 26.5 million smartphone owners in Ukraine use high-speed 4G mobile communications services.

A major cause behind the fact that almost 12 million subscribers do not use 4G is their refusal to change the SIM card to the one that supports the high-speed Internet, the ministry's press service said on its website on June 15.
At the same time, the ministry says SIM cards are replaced free of charge. Therefore, it urged Ukrainians once again to switch to 4G.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine's key mobile operators, namely Kyivstar, Vodafone Ukraine, and Lifecell, in May 2020 launched high-speed 4G communications services in another 1,188 populated localities across the country.
