Court hearings on an appeal against special confiscation of US$1.5 billion from former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych and his allies are scheduled to begin on October 27.
This was disclosed by Ukrainian Prosecutor General Iryna Venediktova on Facebook on October 19.

"On October 27, 2020, prosecutors of the Office of the Prosecutor General will take part in hearings at the [Ukrainian-controlled] Donetsk Appeals Court on complaints filed by a lawyer of non-resident companies against a ruling passed by the Kramatorsk town court in Donetsk region on May 19, 2017, to clarify the Kramatorsk town court's verdict on special confiscation of securities and money on the offshore companies' bank accounts," she said.
