No agreements have been reached yet on holding a personal meeting between presidents of Russia and Ukraine, Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelensky, Russian Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told journalists Thursday.

It is better to wait until "election campaign hype" is over in Ukraine, Peskov said, according to an UNIAN correspondent in Russia.

"No, we're not yet talking about this [meeting of the two presidents]. And let's agree: for now, it is important to wait for the elections to be held in Ukraine, when serious problems can be seriously addressed without election campaign hype," Peskov told journalists.
