Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed Valeriy Yevdokymov as new chief of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine.
Relevant decree No. 710/2019 of September 20 has been posted on the president's website.

"To appoint Valeriy Volodymyrovych Yevdokymov as head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine," the document says.
By preceding decree No. 709/2019, Yevdokymov was dismissed as deputy head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, the post he had held since July 2019.
*** Yevdokymov served as head of the information department of the administration of the State Border Service of Ukraine. He was promoted to major general in 2013.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Zelensky on September 11, 2019, dismissed Vladislav Bukharev from the post of head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine and appointed him First Deputy Chief of the SBU Security Service of Ukraine.
