The statement comes as Prystaiko is attending the event marking the 10th anniversary of the EU Eastern Partnership initiative, at the invitation of Swedish Foreign Minister Anne Linde.

In a speech delivered at a ministerial conference on further development, Prystaiko noted that Ukraine and other associate partners are striving to gain the prospects of EU membership and to deepen differentiation, which should be determined by the partners' ambitions.

The minister has also said Ukraine seeks deeper sectoral integration with the EU.
