Dzhemilev: invaders accuse Crimean Tatars of working for Turkish intel

Leader of the Crimean Tatar people, MP Mustafa Dzhemilev, said that the occupation authorities in the Russian-annexed Crimea began to accuse the Crimean Tatars of working for the Turkish intelligence service, an UNIAN correspondent reported from the annual meeting of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people with heads of diplomatic missions to Ukraine.

Dzhemilev noted that, following the incident with the violation of the Turkish airspace by the Russian Su-24 bomber, a “wild anti-Turkish crackdown” in Crimea ensued.

"Dozens of Turkish families in Crimea, including those who are married with the Crimean Tatars, are being deported from Crimea. All businessmen who have business relations with Turkish companies are on the verge of bankruptcy," said Dzhemilev.
