Poroshenko to meet G7 envoys to tell of Cabinet's fate

On February 4, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko invited the G7 ambassadors in order to explain further fate of the government and reforms, head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine, Ambassador Jan Tombinski told journalists, according to an UNIAN correspondent.

The EU official said that the President of Ukraine invited the ambassadors of the Group of Seven, to explain together with Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, what will happen next [regarding the Ukrainian Government].

The diplomat said he wanted to know what will happen with the government and reforms.

Tombinski stressed that the most important thing is to continue with all the reforms that had already been developed, and to consolidate the path of reform.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine's Economy Minister Aivaras Abromavicius announced on Wednesday that he was going to resign, naming the key reason for his move the conflict with Ihor Kononenko, deputy head of pro-presidential BPP faction in Parliament.
