On Tuesday, the OSCE Special Permanent Council will hold a meeting due to the worsening situation in Avdiyivka, the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the OSCE reported on Twitter.
"OSCE Special Permanent Council meeting on Avdiivka will take place today, on 31 January," the mission tweeted.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the combined Russian-separatists forces repeatedly attacked Ukrainian positions in Avdiyivka's industrial zone on January 29, the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) headquarters said. The enemy had to retreat after they had sustained losses.

However, active fighting in Avdiyivka is still ongoing as the Russian-occupation forces try to seize Ukrainian positions, having launched another assault.
