Deputy Head of the Ukrainian president's administration Kostiantyn Yeliseyev says that the option to introduce martial law in eastern Ukraine due to the situation in the town of Avdiyivka had not been considered yet, according to an UNIAN correspondent.

"As of right now, this option is not being discussed," Yeliseyev said at a briefing on Friday.

He added that this issue could be addressed collectively, in particular, with the participation of the National Security and Defense Council, which may take "appropriate decisions."
