President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that during Wednesday talks in Kharkiv with his Polish counterpart Andrzej Duda the two leaders came to a common opinion that history should not influence the strategic nature of Ukrainian-Polish relations, an UNIAN correspondent quoted Poroshenko as saying at a joint presser with Duda.
"We came to the common opinion that history should not affect the strategic nature of Ukrainian-Polish relations and it is necessary to remember the heroes of the past, to honor the memory of innocent victims,” Poroshenko said.
