Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov has said that the results of an investigation into the murder of Belarusian journalist Pavel Sheremet in Kyiv will be announced at a briefing next week.
Avakov said that only chief investigators and the interior minister are authorized to announce the results of the investigation.

As reported earlier, Pavel Sheremet was killed in a car explosion on July 20, 2016. The car, being driven by Sheremet, belonged to Olena Prytula, his common-law wife and the founding editor of the Ukrayinska Pravda online newspaper.
Investigators are considering a key motivation for the murder of Sheremet as an act of revenge for his professional activities.
