Unusual combination: Ukrainian designer mixes Ukraine’s traditional vyshyvanka dresses with hijabs

A fashion show held in Turkey saw a unique combination of the traditional Ukrainian “vyshyvanka” dresses embroidered with folk ornaments with hijabs the models were wearing while presenting the collection by Oksana Polonets, the Ukrainian Embassy in Turkey reported.

"Vyshyvankas are not only for Ukrainians, they're also for foreign connoisseurs of exclusive garments," the press service wrote.

“The fashion show of vyshyvankas sparked great interest in Turkey," the report says.
