A 19-year-old citizen of Ukraine, Pavlo Hryb, who was reported missing after he traveled to Belarus August 24 for a date with a Russian girl and was allegedly abducted by Russia’s FSB, is now being held at a detention facility in the Russian city of Krasnodar, the teenager’s father, Ihor Hryb, has told an UNIAN correspondent after receiving a confirmation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
"I was informed that he is in Krasnodar’s detention center No. 5. I was informed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs," said Hryb, who is a former officer of the Ukrainian Border Guard Service.
He also added that he intends to visit his son as soon as possible.
"We will fight for him, I need to pay a visit," said Hryb.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the 19-year-old Pavlo Hryb went missing on the territory of Belarus on August 24 after he trabeled to the city of Gomel for a meeting with a Russian girl whom he met in social networks and who has allegedly also flown to Gomel from Russia.
