Ukraine hopes to get about 8 million doses of the vaccine under the COVAX Facility.
Ukraine's Health Ministry says that the price of one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine for Ukrainians will be US$7, and two doses are needed for proper vaccination.
Chief Medical Officer Viktor Liashko made this announcement on TV Channel Ukraine 24.

"One dose of the vaccine through the COVAX Facility could cost US$7 for Ukraine. Proper vaccination – two shots – [will cost] US$14," he said.
According to Liashko, the COVID-19 Vaccine Global Access Facility (COVAX) will allocate about 8 million doses of the vaccine to Ukraine, and the Health Ministry will be able to buy another batch of the vaccine at a special price.
