Over 5,000 tests with the use of polymerase chain reaction (PCR) were conducted in the past day.
Ukrainian Health Minister Maksym Stepanov has said 3,650 healthcare workers and 1,324 children have contracted the COVID-19 coronavirus in Ukraine.

"In total, 18,616 people, including 1,324 children, as well as 3,650 healthcare workers, have contracted the coronavirus since the beginning of the pandemic. Some 5,276 patients have recovered, while 535 people have died," he said during an online briefing on Monday, according to an UNIAN correspondent.
According to Stepanov, 5,098 tests with the use of polymerase chain reaction (PCR) were conducted in the past day.
"In terms of regions, the largest number of confirmed cases over the past day was registered in Lviv region – 47, Rivne region – 41, and the city of Kyiv – 41," the minister said.
