The U.S. Treasury on Tuesday, October 31, prohibited the provision, exportation, or reexportation, directly or indirectly, of goods, services (except for financial services), or technology in support of exploration or production for deepwater, Arctic offshore, or shale projects that could produce oil in Russia or its maritime area claimed by Russia, Deutsche Welle reports.
Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Aaron Mitchell plans to go on his first foreign visit to Ukraine in the near future, as reported by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine following the meeting with the U.S. official of Ukraine’s Finance Minister Oleksandr Danyliuk during his Washington visit along with Ambassador Valery Chaly.
