Ukrainian JCCC warns of possible militant provocations in Donbas

The Ukrainian side of the Joint Centre for Control and Co-ordination (JCCC) has warned of possible provocations by the Russian-backed militants in the occupied areas of Luhansk region (ORLO) in order to disrupt the ceasefire and compromise the Armed Forces of Ukraine, according to a statement released by the JCCC on Sunday evening, June 25.

"According to the media, a sabotage and reconnaissance enemy group of six militants has been neutralized in the ATO [Anti-Terrorist Operation] area. The Ukrainian side of the JCCC assumes this is only the beginning of the ORLO's actions, which could lead to a significant aggravation of the situation in eastern Ukraine," the JCCC said.
