Donbas militants attack Ukraine 18 times on June 23 – ATO HQ
Russia's hybrid military forces attacked Ukrainian army positions in Donbas 18 times on June 23, using banned artillery systems, the press service of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) Headquarters reports.
Only two instances of ceasefire violations by the Russian proxies were recorded in the Mariupol sector. However, both attacks were carried out from 122mm artillery systems, which the militants used against the Ukrainian positions near the villages of Shyrokyne and Vodiane at night.

Before dawn, the occupiers opened fire from anti-tank grenades, heavy machine guns and small arms three times on the Ukrainian fortified positions near these settlements.
The largest number of enemy's violations of the ceasefire was recorded in the Luhansk sector today. In particular, in the area of the Bakhmutka highway, the illegal armed groups repeatedly fired 120mm and 82mm mortars and 122mm artillery systems on the Ukrainian positions near the village of Krymske. Additionally, the enemy used 120mm mortars against the Ukrainian fortified positions near the villages of Novotoshkivske and Novo-Oleksandrivka. Furthermore, the militants opened fire from grenade launchers and small arms of various calibers near the town of Schastia, and the villages of Novozvanivka, Lobacheve and Nyzhnioteple.
There were no killed and wounded in action today, the ATO HQ said.
