Ukrainian Finance Ministry is working on the legalization of gambling, Deputy Finance Minister Olena Makeyeva said on Ukrainian television’s Channel 24 on Tuesday.
We are working on the legalization of gambling, but only if it works as in civilized countries. That’s why we are trying to build a proper legislation in this area. Also, the fight against smuggling and preventing avoidance of duty payments on border will bring additional money to the budget," Makeyeva said.
