China's largest online store no longer available in annexed Crimea

China's largest online store AliExpress stopped servicing residents of the Russian-occupied Crimea, the local news agency Sobytiya Kryma reports.

Neither Crimea, nor the city of Sevastopol are available in the region selection list on the website of the online store, a local resident in Crimea explains, according to Sobytiya Kryma.

As earlier reported, in late 2014 the U.S. prohibited its companies from providing access to popular web-based services for the residents of Russian-annexed Crimea. American services must refuse registering, downloading and activation of products to the Crimean residents.
