The most corrupt bodies in Ukraine were courts (74% of respondents), as well as tax and customs agencies (54%).
The National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) of Ukraine has said that the decisions were taken only on 23 out of 86 cases submitted by the NABU and the Special Anticorruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) to court, while just 17 verdicts entered into legal force, the NABU's press service told UNIAN.
Ukrainian Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko has said that in the course of the investigation of the criminal organization led by former Minister of Income and Taxes Oleksandr Klymenko, the military prosecutors of the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine took part in the consideration of 258 petitions in courts regarding measures to ensure criminal proceedings.
