Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has called on the nation to remember the residents forcibly evicted from the country's western regions to Siberia under Stalin's regime 70 years ago.
The Angarsk City Court in Russia's Irkutsk region has ordered a local resident to be committed a psychiatric clinic, after he publicly called for separating Siberia from Russia and the creation of an independent republic comprising the Asian part of Russia, according to Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL).
