Only 250 state-owned enterprises should remain in Ukraine of around 3,000, the head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine, Borys Lozhkin, said.

400 times in two years have the NATO warplanes scrambled to intercept Russian military aircraft, said NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. According to the NATO chief, the Russian air operations near the European airspace of NATO has increased by almost 70% over the past two years.

UNICEF plans to raise $54.3 million in 2016 to help children affected by the conflict in the east of Ukraine, according to the organization. Earlier this year, UNICEF has launched a campaign to raise $2.8 billion for humanitarian assistance to 43 million children in emergency situations around the world.

Ukraine expects to receive $10 billion in financial aid from its major lenders, including the International Monetary Fund, World Bank, EBRD, the U.S. government and the EU, Finance Minister Natalie Jaresko said.

The deficit of Ukraine’s state budget amounted to UAH 45.15 billion in 2015, according to the State Treasury Service. The figure is 1.5 times less than that in the previous year.
