Ukraine will not be considered a potential candidate for membership in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) if no progress is achieved in implementing the required reforms and in particular in bringing its Armed Forces to the standards of the Alliance, Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine for European Integration Olena Zerkal told TV Channel 5.
NATO has expressed dissatisfaction with the way Kyiv is fulfilling the Annual National Program (ANP), a document that defines the range and pace of reform for Ukraine’s further rapprochement with NATO, Ukraine’s representative to the Bloc Vadym Prystaiko has told reporters in Brussels, Europeiska Pravda reports.
