The Ukrainian parliament has introduced criminal liability for domestic violence and from now on, victims of physical, psychological or economic violence in families will be protected at the state level, MP Iryna Lutsenko said.
Law No. 2120-VIII on strengthening liability for cruelty toward animals has entered into force in Ukraine August 4, after being published in the official newspaper of the Verkhovna Rada, "Holos Ukrainy."
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has registered the draft Law on Amendments to the Criminal Code of Ukraine regarding liability for illegal crossing of the state border (No.7017).
