The Ukrainian Embassy in the Czech Republic appealed to the leadership of the Czech Railways calling on them to fix the map, where the Crimean Peninsula is depicted as a disputed territory, according to Yevhen Perebyinis, Ukraine’s Ambassador to the country, Crimea.Realities wrote.
The New York Times says that the newspaper did not recognize Russia’s position on Crimea by marking the peninsula on an illustration map to a column on Kerch bridge as “disputed territory” and that the move is in line with the publication’s standards, RBC reported citing NYT’s formal reply to its request.
