There are no open seats of fire and explosions across the territory of an ammunition depot near the village of Kalynivka of Vinnytsia region, according to the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SESU).
According to preliminary estimates, some 32,000 tonnes of artillery shells worth $800 million have been destroyed in chain explosions and fire at Ukraine’s major munitions depot deep in the country’s rear, outside the village of Kalynivka in Vinnytsia region.
Ukrainian Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko said investigators are operating under a theory that saboteurs may have used a detonator to trigger a massive explosion and fire at a munitions depot in central Ukraine this week, according to RFE/RL.
Ukrainian Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak says that UAH 25 million, or US$944,465, has been allocated for the maintenance of the military arsenal near the village of Kalynivka in Vinnytsia region, according to the presidential press service.

Ammunition depots in the town of Kalynivka in Vinnytsia region caught fire on Tuesday evening, which has been followed by explosions of bombs, shells and other types of ammunition, according to Vinnytsia Town Hall.
