Ukraine's SBU Security Service has documented new evidence of the involvement of former head of the State Tax Service (2011-2012) and income and tax minister (2012 to 2014), Oleksandr Klymenko, in high treason, according to the SBU's press center.
Ukrainian Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko has said that in the course of the investigation of the criminal organization led by former Minister of Income and Taxes Oleksandr Klymenko, the military prosecutors of the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine took part in the consideration of 258 petitions in courts regarding measures to ensure criminal proceedings.
The main military prosecutor's office together with the National Police and Kord SWAT units has started another stage of procedural actions in the case against criminal organization involving the disgraced former president Viktor Yanukovych and ex-fiscal chief Oleksandr Klymenko.
The Chief Military Prosecutor's Office of the Prosecutor General's Office (PGO) of Ukraine has served former Minister of Income and Taxes Oleksandr Klymenko with charge papers, according to chief military prosecutor Anatoliy Matios.
