Ukrainian Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko's press secretary Larysa Sargan has announced leader of the Movement of New Forces Party, former governor of Odesa region and ex-president of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili is suspected of committing crime under Part 1 of Article 15, Part 2 of Article 28, and Part 2 of Article 256 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The Prosecutor General's Office (PGO) of Ukraine has declared suspicion to the Russian general who, holding a senior position at the so-called "DPR" (self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic) in eastern Ukraine, issued an order to attack the town of Avdiyivka in February this year, according to PGO's Public Relations Office.
Law-enforcement officials have served Anti-Corruption Action Center head Vitaliy Shabunin a notice of suspicion for premeditated assault, the press service of the National Police of Ukraine has told the Kyiv-based Interfax-Ukraine news agency, Kyiv Post reported.
