Some 300 residents of Kyiv's Pozniaky district and an organized group of local activists held a rally on Wednesday evening demanding that a new, unfinished gas station on Revutskoho Street, which they claim has been built too close to the residential area in violation of construction standards and without required documents, be dismantled, as reported by LB.ua.
Protesters demanded the resignation of Odesa Mayor Hennady Trukhanov and prosecution for those responsible for the death of three children killed in a fire that erupted at a local summer camp presumably over a failure of fire alarm systems, procurement of which was overseen by city authorities.
