Ukraine's Ambassador to Poland Andriy Deshchytsia suspects Russia is certainly responsible for an attack on Poland's Consulate General building in the Ukrainian city of Lutsk, according to RMF24.
In the wake of the overnight provocation involving a Lutsk-based Polish Consulate General being shot at with a grenade launcher, all Polish consulates in five Ukrainian cities suspended their operations on Wednesday.
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko on Wednesday strongly condemned the attack on the Consulate General of Poland in Lutsk, while the country's Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin expressed outrage over the act which he called "provocation."
The roof of a building of Poland’s Consulate General in the City of Lutsk was damaged overnight Wednesday, after being hit from an unidentified large caliber weapon, according to Volyn 24 local news outlet.
