Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki says his country opposes mandatory quotas for refugees from the Middle East and North Africa, according to Radio Poland.
Twelve migrants, apparently from North Africa, have been sailing to and fro on a Danish passenger ferry between Istanbul and Odesa for the last seven weeks locked in four cabins, with no country willing to take them, according to Reuters.
About 40 Ukrainians were detained in Italy in 2014-2016 on suspicion of migrant smuggling, according to the consular service of Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
